Hugo's House

If you own two dogs & are wanting to board them, there is a five dollar a day discount ($45. per day). However Hugo's House can only accommodate 2 dogs if there are no other dogs booked.   Check out the "Doggy Bookings" page.

Hugo's House provides:

- lots of tlc

- cookies (milk bone)

- water bowls & food dishes

- toys

What you need to bring to Hugo's House:

- bed/blanket and/or crate

- dog food with instructions (best in a sealed bin or bucket)

- special treats if your dog is on a special diet

- leashes / collars (not their best ones as I have been known to loose them)

- toys that you don't mind are destroyed

- any medications with detailed instructions

- current emergency contact & vet info

What to expect after your visit to Hugo's House or any dog boarding facility:

- being away from owners can cause stress - good and bad - one common sign of stress is diarrhea.  It is not uncommon for dogs to return home with diarrhea.  New treats can also contribute to this.  At Hugo's House we treat dogs with canned pumpkin and acidapholis (a probiotic) if they show signs of diarrhea.  Once home, it should improve in a couple of days.

- new stimulations can cause fatigue. Once home, don't be worried or surprised if your dog sleeps for a day.  Don't forget they were probably also playing hard!
